Proactive's Tylah Tully gives 'Just the Facts' from Great Boulder Resources Ltd (ASX:GBR) latest ASX announcmenet.
It has successfully expanded the mineralised footprint of its Mulga Bill deposit at the Side Well Gold Project in Western Australia. The recent reverse circulation (RC) drilling program, conducted 250 metres north of the existing resource area, confirmed the project's significant prospectivity.
The Mulga Bill resource area now spans over 2.3 kilometres of strike, containing an estimated 568,000 ounces of gold at 2.7 grams per tonne.
Key results from this RC drilling include an intercept of 8 metres at 10.84 grams per tonne gold from 135 metres, with a higher-grade section of 3 metres at 27.94 grams per tonne gold from 138 metres.
These positive outcomes follow earlier high-grade discoveries and support the company's expectation to extend and enhance the Mulga Bill JORC resource estimate.
Great Boulder Resources notes that exploration has only begun to uncover the potential in the northern half of the resource area, with plans for deeper drilling aimed at upgrading inferred resources to the indicated category.
