Oncimmune Holdings PLC (AIM:ONC), the autoantibody profiling specialist, has picked up another research contract with a top ten global pharma company.
This new contract is worth US$700,000 and follows a US$1.5 million award in August.
Oncimmune said the new contract is with a customer for whom it is already a preferred supplier under a long-term master services agreement.
This project will focus on a rare immune-related disease, an area with Oncimmune tasked to identify biomarkers related to disease or disease subtype, organ involvement and clinical response.
An array of over 1,000 antigens will run on Oncimmune's high-throughput, bead-based system with over 500 samples to be analysed.
Martin Gouldstone, Oncimmune’s chief executive, said that these two contracts show the new strategy of increasing the scale of the projects is working.
“I am confident that we are in a strong position to meet our targets for FY24 and reach profitability in FY25,” he added.
