Part of the 'Bisie North' projects, the KBDD006 drill hole targeted the subsurface continuation of mineralisation 100m to the northwest of previous drilling.
Ariana Resources PLC (AIM:AAU) has released promising drilling results from the Hizarliyayla area of its Salinbas Project, revealing potential mineralisation akin to the nearby (and globally significant) Hod Maden gold and copper deposit.
Intercepts included 0.5 meters at 3.96 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 28.65g/t silver from 540.5 meters in drill hole HZR010, and 0.7 meters at 1.16% copper, 0.72% lead, and 29.39g/t silver from 293.3 meters in HZR009. Another notable result is 0.4 meters at 10% zinc, 2.38% lead, and 317.01g/t silver from 662.3 meters.
Sovereign Metals Ltd (ASX:SVM, OTC:SVMLF, AIM:SVML) has commenced a hydraulic mining trial at its Kasiya Rutile Project in Malawi to assess the effectiveness and environmental impact of high-pressure water techniques on a large-scale operation.
Part of its ongoing optimisation study, the work will be led by Fraser Alexander, a specialist in the field, and follows the successful completion of a dry mining evaluation in July.
Sovereign Metals Ltd (ASX:SVM, OTC:SVMLF, AIM:SVML) has kicked off a hydraulic mining trial at its Kasiya Rutile-Graphite Project in Malawi as part of an ongoing Pilot Mining and Land Rehabilitation Program.
The trial will build on earlier test work conducted as part of the Kasiya Optimisation Study, which suggested that the soft, friable nature of the Kasiya orebody should be suitable for hydraulic mining.
Endeavour Mining PLC (LSE:EDV, TSX:EDV, OTCQX:EDVMF) and Lilium Gold have agreed a settlement agreement brokered by the government of Burkina Faso for the divestment of the Boungou and Wahgnion mines.
The deal will see Lilium transfer the ownership of the Boungou and Wahgnion mines to the Burkina Faso state with Endeavour to receive US$60 million cash in the three tranches made up of US$15 million upfront, US$15 million by the end of the third quarter and US$30 million by the end of 2024.
