Aerospace and defence products designer Filtronic PLC (LSE:FTC) has secured another production order from Elon Musk's SpaceX, this time valued at £6.4 million.
The irrevocable order is for Filtronic’s E-band solid-state power amplifier (SSPA) modules to support the ongoing deployment of SpaceX's Starlink constellation.
The order is expected to be fulfilled in calendar year 2025, leading Filtronic to increase its trading outlook for that year.
“We are delighted to receive another production order from our partner, SpaceX, as we continue to support the deployment of the Starlink constellation with E-band technology," said Filtronic’s chief executive Nat Edington.
