NV Gold uncovers promising gold-copper target in Nevada

NV Gold Corporation (TSX-V:NVX, OTC:NVGLF) has completed a technical analysis of its Oasis gold and copper project in Nevada, revealing significant potential for economic mineralization.

The project, located in the Walker Lane structural and mineral belt of west-central Nevada, sits approximately 30 miles southwest of the Goldfield district, which has produced over 4 million ounces of gold.

The exploration target at NV Gold's Oasis project is estimated to contain between 17 and 19 million tons of mineralized material, with gold grades ranging from 0.25 to 0.425 grams per ton. This target is based on 2D sections spaced 100 meters apart and includes 54 identified mineralized zones that are at least three meters thick, extending 1.2 km east-west and 0.5 km wide.

NV Gold noted that there are several untested areas, particularly to the south and west.

"The Oasis project has demonstrated both gold and copper potential. The near-surface gold zone is open in several dimensions and has potential to become an economic deposit by itself or as part of a larger, multi-metallic system that would encompass deeper copper mineralization,” said John Watson, interim CEO of NV Gold.

“This project has become increasingly important due to the recent copper market changes."

The company plans to expand drilling to increase the scope of the known gold zone and advance the project toward resource status.
