The notice was filed with the United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management), and the Utah Division of Oil, Gas and Mining.
Anson’s planning 24 exploration holes along a 2 kilometre strike extension between the Windy Point Mine and the Mineral Treasure Mine. The area features shallow mineralisation, located above the water table, allowing for cost-effective and minimally invasive drilling.
Environmental and cultural surveys have also been completed, resulting in minor adjustments to drilling locations.
The Eastern claim block within Yellow Cat hosts significant uranium and Vanadium mineralisation, with historical samples showing high-grade values up to 10.33% uranium ore concentrate and 25.6% vanadium oxide.
The project's also located near the White Mesa Mill… offering a potential cost-effective processing option for future production.
It’s hoped drilling can get underway shortly… benefiting from rising uranium prices and increased US Government support for domestic uranium production.
