Blockmate Ventures Inc (TSX-V:MATE, OTCQB:MATEF) announced that its investee Hivello, a leading aggregator of decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePINs), has struck a strategic partnership with Mysterium Network, a decentralized Virtual Private Network (VPN) platform.
The company said the partnership with increase the reach and passive income potential for users on both the Hivello and Mysterium Network platforms.
In addition to earning income by sharing their unused computing power, Hivello users will also be able to earn by sharing their internet bandwidth as a MystNode on the Mysterium Network.
The unused internet bandwidth is used to power Mysterium VPN, a decentralized VPN that aims to combat censorship and remove borders on the internet.
Mysterium Network will also link Hivello to other DePIN projects and support its adoption within its decentralized ecosystem.

Domenic Carosa, Hivello co-founder, said the partnership allows the company to contribute to a safer and more open Internet as well as opening an additional income stream.
