The final body of six missing individuals has been found following the sinking of the Bayesian luxury yacht off the coast of Sicily on Monday.
It is thought to be that Hannah Lynch, the daughter of British tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch, who was confirmed dead following the disaster on Thursday.
According to press comments from Sicily’s civil protection agency, efforts to recover the body are “in progress”.
If confirmed as Hannah Lynch, it will bring the death toll following the sinking of the Bayesian to seven of the 22 passengers on board, 15 of whom survived.
It marks a grim resolution to the rescue efforts to locate the missing passengers after Mr Lynch, Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) chairman Jonathan Bloomer, Bloomer's wife Judy, Clifford Chance lawyer Chris Morvillo, Morvillo's wife and crewmember Reclardo ‘Rick’ Thomas were confirmed as deceased.
They were on board the Bayesian to celebrate Mr Lynch’s acquittal in high-profile criminal proceedings related to the $11 billion sale of his Autonomy business to Hewlett Packard in 2011.
Mr Lynch’s wife Neda survived the sinking, which was reportedly due to freak weather and a possible waterspout.

Tributes to the deceased have steadily poured in.
Close friend and colleague Andrew Kanter described Lynch as “the most brilliant mind and caring person I have ever known”.
David Yelland, former Sun newspaper editor, called him "an irreplaceable loss" and praised him as "the UK's greatest tech entrepreneur of recent decades".
Brent Hoberman, co-founder of Lastminute.com, expressed that Mr. Lynch had much more to give and that there was "a lot of unfulfilled potential".
A personal friend, Hoberman called Lynch an “inspiring figure” in the tech community.
Another friend and former Allianz director Richard Holway wrote on LinkedIn: “Mike was a unique British tech talent. Goodness knows what he could have achieved next.”
Darktrace, a company backed by Lynch, described him as an "active champion" of the UK's technology sector.
Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) paid respects to Jonathan Bloomer, calling him a “friend and mentor to many”.
The family of Mr Bloomer and his wife Judy said in a statement: "We are grieving for our loved ones and all of those affected by the tragedy. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the emergency services and everyone who helped tirelessly in this rescue operation.”
The families of Chris and Neda Morvillo described the “enormous loss” of "devoted, loving parents".
Dockwalk published numerous tributes to Chef Reclardo, who had a “brilliant sense of humour, adventurous spirit, and winning smile”, said friend Flora Pickard.
“I can talk for everyone who knew him when I say he was a well-loved, kind human being with a calm spirit. He would come over to mine over the weekend and he would sing. He had the deepest, most sultry voice in the world, and a smile that lit up the room. He loved yachting," said friend Gareth Williams.
