MustGrow Biologics Corp. (TSX-V:MGRO, OTCQB:MGROF) announced that it has received the Arizona Department of Agriculture registration approval for its mustard plant-based biofertility product TerraSante.
TerraSante contains plant proteins and carbohydrates that feed the soil and soil microbes and improve soil health, leading to improved crop nutrient uptake and, in turn, better overall crop performance.
The company highlighted that its Arizona registration and organic certification is “a key pillar” in its commercialization strategy.
It noted that several large California agriculture firms leverage Arizona’s winter climate for winter farming production.
Arizona farms produced $3 billion in agricultural crop products, led by vegetables, melons and potatoes.
MustGrow, which has also secured state-level registrations in Idaho, California, Oregon, and Washington State, said it will continue its efforts to achieve further registrations in other key states.
