Hudson Interxchange announces big expansion at New York facility

Hudson Interxchange (Hudson IX) has announced a significant expansion at its 60 Hudson Street facility in New York City.

The company is constructing two new data halls with a combined capacity of 2MW.

This expansion aims to support the high-density computing infrastructure necessary for AI applications.

Hudson IX has its own power infrastructure at the iconic building and a direct feed from ConEd, providing access to 15MW of power.

The facility spans nearly 173,000 square feet, allowing customers to access over 300 carriers and network service providers, enhancing connectivity options.

“We are excited to bring this additional capacity to market, expanding our current data centre white space with an additional 2MW to support current and future customer needs,” said Atul Roy, CEO of Hudson IX.

“This expansion marks a significant milestone for Hudson Interxchange and provides us with the ability to support high-density racks to meet the AI and machine learning needs of emerging applications and providers in the digital infrastructure sector.”

The project is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2025, enabling Hudson IX to meet the growing demands of AI applications while also catering to a broad range of client needs beyond AI.

Hudson IX is an investee company of Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Ltd (LSE:CORD)
