Legend Mining Ltd (ASX:LEG) executive chair Mark Wilson joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss six newly identified conductor targets at Octagonal prospect within its Rockford Project in the Fraser Range, Western Australia.
These conductors were identified through an extension of the maiden High-Power Fixed Loop Electro-Magnetics survey which started in July, after weather-related delays. The extension survey was carried out by Highpower EM Geophysical Services Pty Ltd and revealed six complex conductors related to the mineralised eastern contact of the Octagonal Intrusive contact.
These findings suggest that nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation previously identified in this area may extend further east, to where there has been limited drill testing.
The company plans to combine the survey results with reprocessed seismic data and AI/ML analyses to define new drill targets.
Diamond drill planning is underway, pending a site visit from Native Title Holders in September 2024, required before further land access negotiations.
Meanwhile, a new HPFLTEM survey is also being conducted at the Magnus prospect within the same project.
