Just the Facts: Anson Resources

Just the Facts: Anson Resources

Presenting another critical minerals opportunity for a lithium-focused company, Anson Resources Ltd (ASX:ASN, OTCQB:ANSNF) has identified extensive gallium and barium mineralisation on its Ajana Project in Western Australia.

Proactive’s Tylah Tully tells us Just The Facts about ASN’s powerful drilling results, which peaked at 67 grams per tonne (g/t) gallium, 44 g/t indium, 40 g/t germanium and 20,020 g/t barium.

China imposed a critical mineral export ban on both gallium and germanium last year, threatening the semiconductors, mobile phones, LED and nuclear engineering sectors.

China has produced 98% of the world’s gallium and 93.5% of the world’s germanium historically, prompting other jurisdictions to swiftly search out new sources of the minerals. Associated with high-grade zinc mineralisation, Anson says the critical minerals on its Ajana Project can be enriched “five to ten-fold” in ore processing.
