Artemis Resources Ltd (ASX:ARV, AIM:ARV, OTCQB:ARTTF) jumped more than 80% as the explorer pulled a rock chip as big as a child’s fist and packed with gold from its Titan prospect in Pilbara, Western Australia.
The big sample registered more than 10,000 g/t gold, which was the limit of the measuring equipment.
Another sample graded 6,520 g/t gold, with a third back to normality with an impressive but still high-grade 10.2 g/t gold.
Copper assays from the Titan area were also impressive, grading up to 23.8% and 14.55%.
Artemis said it had gathered enough gold from rock chips at Titan so far to produce a 10.4-ounce bar of gold.
Shares in the AIM-listed explorer jumped 0.4p to 0.88p.
