EQTEC PLC (AIM:EQT) shares kicked 11.5% higher on Wednesday after the waste-to-energy expert said it could be close to settling a £2 million deal with Logik Developments.
An agreement between the two companies, which would entitle EQTEC to the cash, is expected to be settled once the London-listed firm disposes of the Deeside Industrial Park.
Disposal of the UK site is expected to take place on Friday after several delays.
In April, EQTEC agreed with Logik that it would receive a settlement sum of £2 million should it sell the land between May 1 and November 30.
If a sale is not completed by then, Logik will be liable to pay £2 million not conditional upon any sale of the land.
