Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) has launched a new fulfilment centre in Leeds, which is set to create over 2,000 jobs in the coming months.
The company is investing £500 million in the state-of-the-art facility at Gateway45, which spans three floors and utilises advanced technology to pick, pack, and ship orders.
The new hub is Amazon's 31st in the UK and is less than 10 miles from its Wakefield site, which opened in October 2022.
The roles being filled include engineers, HR and IT professionals, as well as health & safety and finance staff.
