Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR) shares jumped more than 11% on a bullish exploration update from its Mbe project in Cameroon.
Mbe is one of two projects in East Africa where gold producer BCM has the option to take a major stake in return for funding exploration.
In this case, it can pay up to US$4 million for a 50% interest.
Oriole today reported that soil sampling had identified three more areas of potential gold mineralisation, while trenching results from MB01, a target already highlighted at Mbe, are due shortly.
Shares rose by 11.5% to 0.29p.
