Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR) has identified three new targets at the Mbe project in Cameroon from exploration currently underway and funded by farm-in partner BCM International.
Mbe is one of five licences within Oriole’s package of contiguous exploration licences, the 'Eastern CLP', which covers 2,266 square kilometres of ground prospective for gold deposits.
A second infill soil sampling programme over the wider Mbe licence area identified three further zones of gold anomalism to the east of an existing target (MB01).
Now called MB02, MB03 and MB04, results were up to 0.28g/t gold, which Oriole said was lower than MB01 but all three sites offered the potential to become satellite deposits.
Oriole added that initial results from recent trenching work at MB01 are also anticipated in this quarter ahead of drilling next year.

“Separately, we look forward to reporting the results and geological interpretation from the recently completed trenching programme, which will determine the details of the maiden drilling programme."
