Argentina Lithium & Energy Corp (TSX-V:LIT, OTCQX:LILIF) has announced the appointment of Pompeyo Gallardo as its vice president of corporate development.
The company highlighted that Gallardo brings almost three decades of experience in corporate finance to the position.
He is an expert in project structuring and financing, specializing in joint ventures, metal streams, royalties, and other unconventional debt forms, Argentina Lithium & Energy added.
Gallardo has served as a CFO and Corporate Development consultant for several junior mining companies in Canada, particularly those with Latin American projects.
His past roles included financial analyst at CIBC, senior credit risk manager at Scotiabank (TSX:BNS) International, and CFO/corporate finance consultant at Red Cloud Securities.
