Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC (LSE:HIK, OTC:HKMPF) shares bounced 7.6% higher on Thursday following the publication of its half-year financial report.
“We had an excellent first half of the year. All of our businesses contributed to our strong performance, delivering 10% Group revenue growth,” said chief executive Riad Mishlaw.
“We launched new products across all regions, entered new markets in Europe, and further strengthened our leadership team.”
Operating profit flew 43% higher to $351 million on a statutory basis, although cash flow was down 11% to $198 million due to working capital expenses.
The stock was trading at 1,982p on Thursday morning.
