Seeing Machines in-car technology continues to enjoy significant traction

Seeing Machines Ltd (AIM:SEE, OTC:SEEMF) said that the number of vehicles carrying its eye-tracking technology has more than doubled in the last 12 months to over 2.2 million, driven by widespread adoption of driver monitoring and upcoming regulation.

In the fourth quarter, the group produced 381,215 units, marking a 22% rise from the previous quarter.

Additionally, the company reported a 19% increase in its monitored Guardian in-cab system for trucks over the past 12 months, reaching 62,010 units compared to 51,975 units a the same point a year ago.

"We have maintained growth of over 100% in the number of cars on the road featuring our technology from 12 months ago, despite the quarter-on-quarter volatility experienced during the year," said CEO Paul McGlone.

"Regulations are now in place so we are confident that these figures will continue to grow for existing Automotive programs and as new programs start production.
