Galileo Resources PLC (AIM:GLR) has started Phase 1 drilling on Licence 28001 - HQ - LEL in NW Zambia.
The licence is situated in the Western Foreland with the drilling to target Kamoa - Kakula-type mineralisation.
Several potential lithological contacts have been identified that could provide suitable conditions for the development of redox fronts and associated copper mineralisation.
