Spanish Mountain Gold Ltd (TSX-V:SPA, OTC:SPAZF) has appointed Mark Ruus as chief financial officer.
Ruus, who brings nearly 30 years of mining experience, began his career at PwC and has held senior tax positions at major gold mining companies, including Kinross Gold, Goldcorp, and Placer Dome.
He holds a CPA - CA designation and has extensive expertise in financing, cost control, business efficiency, compliance, and financial reporting.
Ruus stated, "I am excited to be joining the Spanish Mountain team at this stage of the company. I believe my experience will help build the company as it transitions from explorer, developer to producer.”
