Mountain Valley MD shares updates from ‘transformative’ six months

Mountain Valley MD Holdings Inc (CSE:MVMD, OTCQB:MVMDF) told investors the last six months have been a “truly transformative window” for the company as its technologies have been positively received.

The company provided a general business update on its progress across its three core lines of business: nutraceuticals, agriculture and husbandry animals/aquatic species.

In its nutraceuticals segment, the company said its contracted manufacturing partner in the US has completed the setup and testing of equipment for the production of its Quicksome technology, including sublingual and rapid dissolve tablets and powders.

Mountain Valley MD’s Quicksom technology encapsulates active ingredients using proprietary formulations and stabilizing molecules to create highly efficient product formats, aiming to deliver nutraceuticals to the body faster with greater impact, efficiency and accuracy.

The company has also completed formulation work for Circadian for its Eons branded product line leveraging its technology, which includes sleep, energy, immunity and an amanita mushroom product.

During internal testing the Eons Deeper Sleep product showed significant improvements in sleep metrics, the company highlighted.

“Seeing the results of the Deeper Sleep study was a validation of the impact Quicksome can have in using high-quality ingredients in a smaller dose than typical competitors are using,” Mountain Valley MD CEO Dennis Hancock said.

“As we believe consumers are becoming more aware than ever in what they are putting into their bodies, using less of an ingredient to greater effect is a key part of the Quicksome value proposition.”

In its agriculture business, the company said its Agrarius technology, which increases crop yields and resilience while reducing fertilizer and pesticide use, has now received certification and registration in several regions, including 44 US states and Brazil.

“We believe the recent attainment of registration in Brazil is significant to support our commercialization plans and long-term shareholder value creation,” Hancock noted.

“Brazil is one of the largest agricultural markets in the world and we have a very strong business development pipeline in this market that includes directly working with some of the top agricultural organizations in the world who have been introduced to Agrarius and are actively trialing or planning trials with the Agrarius product.”

It is carrying out trials of the product, working with third-party agriculture testing partners to evaluate Agrarius-treated crops in terms of enzyme regulation, chlorophyll production, and overall crop health and yields compared to control plants.

Further, it has launched a Performance Guarantee Program for Agrarius, to allow farmers to try Agrarius with minimized risk.

Mountain Valley MD expects initial revenues from Agrarius in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Finally, in its husbandry animals and aquatic species unit, trials of its Soluvec 1% technology at a fish farm in Bangladesh have yielded positive results, including an increase in average daily growth and a reduction in mortality.

It plans to start shipping Soluvec 1% coated standard fish feed for farmed fish species within Bangladesh in the third quarter.

“I am very proud of our team who is working tirelessly during this pivotal phase in our journey, delivering innovative products with unique value propositions, all while supporting the scaling of our operations and expansion of our strategic partnerships across a broad distribution territory,” Hancock concluded.
