Kingfisher PLC's (LSE:KGF) B&Q has partnered with Deliveroo to offer delivery for DIY products, building on a similar partnership struck with the retailer’s sister brand Screwfix.
This new service will be available in nine B&Q Local stores across London, including Camden, Harrow, Palmers Green, Streatham, Sutton, Tooting, Wandsworth, Wood Green, and Staines-Upon-Thames.
Customers will have access to over 600 DIY items, which can be delivered in as little as 25 minutes.
This partnership is part of Deliveroo's strategy to expand its 'Deliveroo Shopping' service, incorporating more non-grocery and food retailers into its platform.
Over the past year, Deliveroo has also partnered with The Perfume Shop, Ann Summers, and Boots.
Last year, Kingfisher’s Screwfix agreed to a similar partnership with Deliveroo, allowing shoppers based in several UK locations to get goods delivered from the DIY retailer.

Deliveroo's chief operating officer Eric French added: “There is a huge home improvement market in the UK and our data shows that customers want the convenience of being able to order everything from paint brushes and paint to tools for delivery in as little as 25 minutes.”
