Nevis Brands (CSE:NEVI, OTCQB:PSCBF) said it has completed its initial production run of Major shots in Mississippi through its licensee, Stash House Distro, just a few months after striking the licencing agreement.
The licensee produced three flavors of the two-ounce Major shots: Fruit Punch, Blackberry (TSX:BB) Lemonade, and Blueberry.
Nevis Brands (CSE:NEVI, OTCQB:PSCBF) has previously produced and distributed these products successfully in Washington, Missouri, Oregon, and Ohio.
Major Shots contain 100mg of THC and use a proprietary formula of flavor and emulsion technology to deliver effects in under 20 minutes with minimal cannabis taste.
John Kueber, Nevis CEO, lauded the company’s achievement in navigating compliance requirements, approvals, getting equipment, and successfully completing production.
Kueber added: “With over 10 SKUs now developed under the Major brand and 10 states under license, we see a great deal of opportunity to expand our market footprint through both continued introduction of our products and into new territories. We will continue to execute our plan of bringing Major products to more states and in new product formats.”
The state of Mississippi legalized the sale of cannabis for medical use in January 2023 and currently has over 400 licensed dispensaries.
Mississippi represents the 10th state for Major to be licensed for production and the ninth state to commence actual production.
