Retail investment and trading platform eToro Group Ltd will add over 1,000 additional UK-listed company stocks in the coming months through a partnership with the London Stock Exchange Group PLC (LSE:LSEG).
eToro also intends to expand the quality of trading data it provides its customers.
Smaller listed companies will be the main benefactors of this significant expansion of eToro’s offering.
eToro currently has around 400 stocks on its platform, primarily consisting of large-cap UK- and US-listed companies.
“For a long time we’ve offered leading global market coverage but we are now adding more depth in local markets,” said eToro’s UK managing director Dan Moczulski.
He added: “As we continue to enhance the local trading and investing experience for our users around the world, relationships with exchanges such as the London Stock Exchange will be crucial.
“We are excited to be working even more closely with them and look forward to building on this relationship with more joint initiatives.”
The additional stocks will be added to the platform in a phased approach over the coming months, said eToro.
