Bellevue Healthcare Trust PLC (LSE:BBH) told investors that it is clear that the investment company must redouble efforts to perform, and, following a review, the investment manager and board are satisfied that the team is “well resourced and supported” to achieve its goals.
In the firm’s half-year results, released today, Bellevue reported a net asset value (NAV) per share of 149.95p, as of May 31, up from 143.87p on November 30.
During the same period, in the market, Bellevue’s share price rose to 141.60p from 129.00p.
The trust noted that it had achieved a share price total return per share of 12.1% and an NAV total return per share of 6.3% for the first half of 2024.
It specific objective is to beat the benchmark and deliver double-digit annual returns over three years.
Bellevue confirmed it will, in line with its stated policy, pay a dividend of 2.52p per share in August/September 2024 and March/April 2025.
Also, the said it had bought back some 300,000 of its shares in the first half of 2024, and the buyback programme has subsequently resumed.
