Shares in Beazley PLC (LSE:BEZ) rose over 2% after the cyber insurer said its full-year guidance remained unchanged despite Friday's global IT outage.
As a "leading cyber insurer" and due to the scale of the CrowdStrike incident, with companies using Microsoft systems in various industries affected around the world, the FTSE 100-listed specialist insurer said it thought it best to provide an update.
"Based on what is known at this point, the event will not change the current undiscounted combined ratio guidance of low-80s for the full year," Beazley said.
It added that it would provide more details on its recent performance in half-year results next month.
