Precious gems small cap URA Holdings PLC (LSE:URAH) added 8% to its share price after announcing the acquisition of a majority stake in Prasinus Exploration.
Prasinus is the owner of the Curlew emerald mine in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia.
“The acquisition not only solidifies our presence in the emerald mining industry, but also aligns with our strategy to invest in high-potential projects with strong growth prospects,” URA said of the deal.
Markets agreed, sending the stock to 1.62p at the time of writing.
