Trillion Energy International Inc. (CSE:TCF, OTCQB:TRLEF) said it has achieved significant gas flow increases at its South Akcakoca-2 well following successful perforations.
The SA-2 well, targeted in this phase of operations, underwent successful perforations across intervals totaling 6.4 meters.
Initial well hole pressure of 86 psi increased sharply to 1046 psi post-perforation, according to the company.
Subsequent flow measurements showed encouraging results: starting from 0.70 MMcf/d on July 10th, increasing to 1.88 MMcf/d by July 14th, and peaking at 2.88 MMcf/d on July 15th, with a WHP of 318 psi.
Ongoing monitoring aims to stabilize production rates, indicating effective clearing of water-blocked reservoirs and robust gas output.
Meanwhile, the Guluc-2 well also saw successful perforations over a 7.7-meter MD interval, with initial WHP at 650 psi rising to 1243 psi, settling to 1098 psi. Further assessment and flow testing are underway following the SA-2 stabilization phase.
“The fantastic response of South Akcakoca-2 once the water was lift off the perforations indicates that the reservoirs will produce the gas they contain once the water loading is removed,” Trillion CEO Arthur Halleran said.
The wells will undergo perforation and monitoring during cleanup to assess the reservoirs' response, Halleran added.
The next project phase involves installing smaller production tubing (2 3/8 inches) to enable extended production before encountering water loading.
