Charbone Hydrogen Corporation (TSX-V:CH, OTCQB:CHHYF) has announced its participation in the upcoming World Electrolysis North America's webinar focused on "Developing Electrolytic Hydrogen in North America" on July 17, 2024.
Chief Operating Officer Daniel Charette will present plans to deliver a network of modular green hydrogen facilities across North America.
Charbone is set to commence green hydrogen production later this year at its Sorel-Tracy, Quebec plant.
Additionally, the company plans to open a second facility in Detroit, Michigan before the end of the year.
These initiatives are part of Charbone's broader strategy to deploy 16 green hydrogen production plants across North America by 2030.
Target markets for these plants include Chicago, New York, the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Wisconsin, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and California.
The Sorel-Tracy project will serve as the company's flagship facility, starting with an initial capacity of approximately 400kg of hydrogen and increasing production through phased development.
The upcoming webinar will gather electrolytic hydrogen experts, industry leaders, and stakeholders to explore new business opportunities and expand knowledge of the electrolysis ecosystem in North America.
