Cohort PLC (AIM:CHRT)'s subsidiary EID has been awarded a €33 million (£27.7 million) contract by the NATO Communications and Information Agency.
It will see the company supply the Portuguese Army with a Tactical Deployable Communication and Information System (TDCIS), over a three-year contract period.
“Together with recent contracts to provide its Integrated Communications System to Damen for the Portuguese Navy´s Multi-Purpose Vessel (MPV) and to the Chilean Navy, this win takes our order intake to over €45m in the last four months,” chief executive Andy Thomis said in a statement.
In London, the AIM-quoted firm’s shares rose by 35p or 4.35% to trade at 845.22p each.
