Premier African Minerals Ltd (AIM:PREM, OTC:PRMMF) said that installation of the additional conditioning tanks at its Zulu lithium plant in Zimbabwe is complete.
Ore feed is expected to commence from today, it added.
George Roach, chief executive, said: "Premier is delighted to confirm further to our announcement earlier this week that this not insignificant modification to the float circuit has been delivered, installed and is now operational on time.
“This unit is expected to significantly increase the recovery of spodumene, and Premier anticipates seeing a substantial increase in production of spodumene concentrate from the flotation circuit."
