Golden Arrow Resources Corp (TSX-V:GRG, OTCQB:GARWF) has reported promising drill results from its San Pietro project in Chile, with significant copper, gold, cobalt, and iron mineralization intersected in multiple intervals.
The company has completed the first three holes of a planned 10,000-metre program, focusing on the advanced Rincones target.
Highlights from the drilling include significant mineralized intervals in all three holes.
One drill hole intersected multiple well-mineralized zones, including 20 meters at 1.47% copper, 0.16 g/t gold, 343 g/t cobalt, and 27.2% iron from 360 meters depth.
Brian McEwen, VP of exploration and development for Golden Arrow, told shareholders that the firm is “thrilled” with the results.
“The thick mantos together with the vertical high grade breccias are really starting to come together,” McEwen said in a statement.
"We are drilling the final hole of this batch, which totals eight holes in Rincones and one in the Colla copper-cobalt target. Next, we will start a step-out program to test for additional extensions to the mineralization and increase the resource potential."
The company aims to complete an initial resource estimate for the Rincones target, building on previous successful drilling campaigns that identified significant extensions to known mineralization.
Golden Arrow's 2023 program had already yielded promising results, including a 64.2-metre interval averaging 0.86% copper, 0.20 g/t gold, 196 g/t cobalt, and 26.9% iron in a previous hole.
