Argo Blockchain shares drop 7% after mining update

Argo Blockchain PLC (LSE:ARB, OTCQX:ARBKF, NASDAQ:ARBK, ETR:0XP), a global cryptocurrency mining company, saw its share price drop by 7% after it updated on its crypto mining operations.

In June, the company mined 44 Bitcoin, averaging 1.5 Bitcoin per day, the same as in May.

Mining revenue for June remained steady at $2.9 million, with mining margins at around 30%. As of June 30, Argo held 11 Bitcoin.

In early trading, the stock was off 0.6p at 8.4p. Likely accounting for almost all of that slide was the 4.7% decline in the value of the cryptocurrency to $54,367.20.
