Shares in Distribution Finance Capital Holdings PLC jumped 24% after it announced its full-year results are expected to exceed market expectations significantly.
The company reported strong trading performance for the six months ending 30 June, with new loan origination reaching a record £709 million, a 17% increase from last year's comparable period.
The loan book grew to £600 million, and credit lines hit a record £1.1 billion, up 21% from the previous year.
The group's underlying trading performance benefited from stronger net interest income, lower impairments, and improved cost control, leading to an expected pre-tax profit of no less than £9 million for the half just ended.
In early trading, the stock was up 6.49p at 33.49p.
