Coro Energy PLC (AIM:CORO) said that energy transition expert Harry Beamish has been appointed to the board as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
The South East Asia-focused company, which has a natural gas and clean energy portfolio, highlighted Beamish's significant expertise in the energy and renewables sectors, with over a decade specialising in emerging markets.
It was noted that he has developed, advised and structured multiple renewable energy transactions across hydro, solar and wind energy projects and advises companies within the space as co-founder and partner of Becquerel Capital, a development and structuring boutique focused on sustainable power infrastructure, which has significant experience in emerging markets.
Beamish's appointment means the board will be in quorate, with enough members to approve the annual report and accounts.
Tom Richardson, a non-executive on the Coro board, said: "With Harry onboard, we will be able to conclude the company's annual report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2023 and at the point of announcing our FY 2023 results, seek to have the suspension from trading lifted."
