BenevolentAI (OTC:BAIVF) has announced changes to its executive leadership team following its annual meeting with Catherine Isted stepping down as chief financial officer.
Tom Holgate will continue as group finance director, "ensuring continuity and leveraging his extensive understanding of the company's financial landscape to lead several pivotal financial initiatives".
“It has been a pleasure to work alongside Catherine and I would like to thank her for her contribution and commitment during her time as dhief financial officer," said CEO Joerg Moeller.
Going forward, Benevolent is pushing to capitalise on the expanding 'techbio' sector. Last week, it successfully integrated a new target for systemic lupus erythematosus into AstraZeneca's portfolio, marking its second major collaboration milestone with the Anglo-Swedish drugs giant.
"As a leader in applying advanced AI to accelerate biopharma drug discovery, at BenevolentAI (OTC:BAIVF), we remain focused on delivering value creation for all our shareholders and delivering innovative medicines to patients suffering from serious medical conditions," said Moeller.
