Condor Resources Inc. (TSX-V:CN, OTC:CNRIF) has provided an update on four of its exploration projects in Peru: Pucamayo, Soledad, Huinac Punta, and Andrea.
At Pucamayo, the drill program confirmed the geological interpretations, with the potential for a gold-bearing epithermal deposit.
"The drill program was successful in confirming the geological interpretations made to date based on prior work, and the project remains highly prospective for a gold-bearing epithermal deposit," the company stated.
An updated airborne magnetics survey identified two magnetic anomalies, suggesting hydro-magmatic centres. Condor has therefore initiated the application process for a separate DIA, or environmental assessment, for the South East Target.
The Soledad project experienced delays as Chakana Copper Corp has not yet completed a scheduled payment and share issuance. Discussions are ongoing between the companies to resolve the matter.
Progress continues at Huinac Punta with community discussions through the Consulta Previa process. A community meeting, anticipated for July, is required before drilling can commence.
Constructive discussions with local community leaders are underway at the Andrea project. The company plans to re-engage with the community after several dormant years.
Condor Resources is a precious and base metals exploration company focused on its portfolio of projects in Peru.
