Artemis Resources Ltd (ASX:ARV, AIM:ARV, OTCQB:ARTTF) managing director George Ventouras joins Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio to discuss upcoming drilling programs at the Mt Marie lithium and Lulu Creek gold projects in Western Australia. A heritage survey over the project areas is set to commence on July 3 to address any uncleared regions, facilitating the regulatory clearance necessary for drilling operations.
Ventouras highlighted the high prospectivity of the Lulu Creek and Mt Marie projects for their respective resources. Following the completion and reporting of these surveys, the drilling of these targets will proceed.
Mt Marie's potential is supported by multiple rock chip assays showing over 4% lithium oxide, comparable to Azure Minerals Ltd (ASX:AZS, OTC:AZRMF)’s Andover project, which has an exploration target of 100 to 240 million tonnes at 1% to 1.5% lithium oxide.
Lulu Creek is within a structurally prospective gold corridor, with prior drilling revealing results of 12 metres at 0.42 g/t gold, including 2 metres at 1.62 g/t from 34 metres. Artemis has already identified four prospects - Sing Six, Sing Well, Orpheus and Lulu Creek.
Artemis' technical team will finalise the drill programs as soon as the heritage surveys are complete.
