Forrestania Resources readies for iron-focused drilling program at Koolyanobbing Fe Project

Forrestania Resources Ltd (ASX:FRS) is eagerly awaiting the start of an iron-focused drilling program at the Koolyanobbing Fe Project in Western Australia with the drill rig due to arrive and begin exploration drilling imminently.

The company has contracted a reverse circulation (RC) drilling rig from Topdrill Pty Ltd, which will complete 1,000 to 1,200 metres of RC drilling to test for hematite targets identified at Koolyanobbing.

With a heritage survey already completed across all three targets, FRS is working with representatives and contractors on site, clearing drill pads so that work can begin as soon as the rig arrives.

Testing hematite targets

“We are pleased to report the imminent commencement of the RC program to test the Koolyanobbing Fe targets,” Forrestania Resources chair John Hannaford said.

“This follows completion of the Aboriginal Heritage Survey over the planned drill locations.

“The program will aim to test as many of the target areas as possible with the aim of discovering extensive hematite mineralisation.

“The company has been working closely with representatives of Netley Minerals to plan and optimise the drill holes and locations. The company looks forward to keeping the market informed as drilling progresses.”
