Plexus Holdings PLC (AIM:POS), the AIM-quoted oil and gas engineering services company, has confirmed the implementation of its succession plan alongside several additional boardroom changes.
After more than 50 years in the industry and 19 years as CEO, founder Ben van Bilderbeek has retired from his role and has become non-executive chair, replacing Jeff Thrall, who remains on the board as an independent director.
Craig Hendrie, a 25-year veteran of Plexus and former technical director, has been appointed the new CEO. Hendrie played a key role in developing the POS-GRIP wellhead engineering technology and has been active in day-to-day operations.
Graham Stevens has retired as finance director after 19 years and has been succeeded by Mike Park, who has been with Plexus for 20 years and will be chief financial officer.
Additionally, Anastasio (Stas) van Bilderbeek has joined the board as an executive director, focusing on shareholder engagement, company strategy, and business development.
To ensure a smooth transition, both Ben van Bilderbeek and Graham Stevens will remain full-time employees for six months to support the new board.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank the outgoing board members and reflect on their contributions to the company over many years," said Hendrie.
"Ben van Bilderbeek has had a remarkable career and his contribution as the founder of Plexus and inventor of our proprietary POS-GRIP method of engineering is immense."
