Aptamer Group PLC's (AIM:APTA) share price rose strongly early on following the announcement of two new contracts worth £235,000 for its optimer binders.
The first contract, valued at £175,000, is with an unnamed major pharmaceutical company to develop optimer binders for immunohistochemistry applications.
This deal represents the sixth contract with this partner, indicating strong confidence in Aptamer’s technology.
The second contract, worth £60,000, is with a global provider of specialty enzymes. Aptamer will create optimer binders for the partner’s life science and diagnostic kits, with milestone payments and royalties expected from kit sales starting as early as 2025.
Initially up 7% in early trade, the stock gave up those gains to trade flat at 0.7p.
