Green Technology Metals appoints executive director as managing director

Green Technology Metals Ltd (ASX:GT1, OTC:GTMLF) has tapped executive director Cameron Henry to transition to the position of managing director, effective today.

Henry will lead GT1 through the next phase of growth, as the company continues to advance its North American lithium assets, particularly the Seymour Lithium Project, toward production and beyond.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the mining industry, having operated within a diverse range of geographies and commodities, including in Australia, Indonesia, North America and South America.

Henry previously served as founding managing director of the Primero Group Limited, leading the company to become a globally recognised builder of lithium processing facilities worldwide.

Building integrated lithium business

"Our decision to appoint Cameron as managing director reflects our confidence in his experience and leadership abilities to guide the company through this critical phase," said non-executive chairman John Young.

“As GT1 prepares for critical milestones in permitting, financing and project development this year, I am confident that under Cameron's leadership, we will successfully advance the Seymour project and continue to build an integrated lithium business in Ontario, Canada.”

GT1 holds four projects in Canada, the Seymour, Root, Junior and Wisa hard rock spodumene lithium projects, as well as several lithium-prospective exploration claims - Allison, Falcon, Gathering, Pennock and Superb.

The Seymour and Root assets hold a combined resource mineral estimate of 24.9 million tonnes at 1.13% lithium.
