MP Evans Group PLC (AIM:MPE) said it has commenced a new share buyback programme with a budget of £2 million, expiring on September 14. All repurchased shares will be cancelled. MPE said it believes the company's assets are undervalued. This buyback aims to enhance earnings and leverage the company's strong balance sheet. The programme, approved at the recent AGM, allows daily purchases up to 25% of the average daily trading volume over the past 20 days. Cavendish Capital Markets Limited will manage the buyback.
