Proactive research analyst Ryan Long speaks to Proactive's Stephen Gunnion after initiating coverage on Copper Lake Resources Ltd (TSX-V:CPL, OTC:WTCZF).
Discussing the company's ongoing projects in northwest Ontario, Long said Copper Lake is actively exploring two main projects: Marshall Lake and Norton Lake. Marshall Lake is the more advanced, with over 200 occurrences of base and precious metals and a historic resource of around 2.2 million tons in the Billiton Zone. Long highlighted the early exploration results, noting significant intersections of hydrothermal alteration indicating a large mineralized system.
Norton Lake, on the other hand, is perspective for polymetallic magmatic sulfides with a resource of approximately 1.8 million tonnes. The project features two lenses with further potential along strike and depth, promising substantial future discoveries.
Long outlined Copper Lake's future plans, focusing on an extensive electromagnetic survey at Marshall Lake to refine targets and a subsequent drill program. This survey will probe deeper than previous geophysics, enhancing the understanding of the western zone, which has largely been unexplored.
