Abitibi Metals Corp (CSE:AMQ, OTC:AMQFF) has added new face to its advisory board committee with the appointment of Victor Cantore, CEO of AMEX Exploration.
In a statement, Abitibi called Cantore a seasoned professional in capital markets specializing in the resource and hi-tech sectors.
Currently, Cantore is the CEO, President, and Director of AMEX Exploration. Under his leadership, AMEX Exploration has become one of Canada's leading gold exploration companies, growing its market capitalization from a few million dollars to a peak of $400 million, and recently at $200 million after completing over 450,000 meters of drilling.
“Victor has achieved remarkable success in Quebec, contributing to the development of several exceptional companies in the province,” Abitibi Metals CEO Jonathon Deluce said in a statement welcoming Cantore.
