Recent results from aircore drilling at Larin’s Lane within the Smokebush Project have been promising. The project is in the emerging Mid-West clay-hosted rare earth elements (REE) district of Western Australia, an area gaining a reputation as a premier REE destination. Nearby, Venture Minerals Ltd reported high-grade REE intersections at the Jupiter project, supporting Terrain’s expectations for the region. Virgin says he is buoyed by the rise of gallium with the element’s increasing demand in advanced electronics, such as silicon chips and photovoltaic cells, making this project particularly exciting. Virgin highlighted the superior thermal properties of gallium, which enhance faster switching and higher voltage capabilities in electronics. In addition to Smokebush, Terrain Minerals has other projects including Lort River. These projects diversify the company’s portfolio and add to its potential for discovery and development. Over the next few months, Terrain Minerals expects to see continued exploration progress and potentially significant discoveries. The company is in advanced discussions with several groups to advance its projects, particularly focusing on gallium and rare earth elements.
