Northern Superior Resources Inc. (TSX-V:SUP, OTCQX:NSUPF) has appointed seasoned professional geologist Eric Desaulniers as a director, saying this signifies its "readiness for an eventual development phase".
While stressing that it remains focused on advancing exploration activities for the Chibougamau Gold Camp, the company said it would benefit from Desaulniers' experience and leadership, having been a project manager at Sander Geophysics and founded abd been CEO of Nouveau Monde Graphite (TSX-V:NOU, NYSE:NMG) since 2021.
Northern Superior highlighted NMG's forging of strategic partnerships and establishment as a cornerstone of the government of Quebec's critical and strategic minerals plan, with counts Resource-Quebec as one of its largest shareholders.
Executive chairman Victor Cantore said: "Having interacted with Eric previously, I can attest firsthand to his remarkable achievements."
