Taylor Swift's favourite footwear company, Italy's Golden Goose, is looking to complete an initial public offer on Euronext Milan at a valuation of between €1.7 billion and €1.9 billion (£1.4-1.6bn).
The arrival of the upmarket sneaker maker, whose sneakers are sported by celebrities including Swift, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez and Reese Witherspoon, is set to be Italy's largest IPO since last May.
The Venice-based company and its British owners, private equity firm Permira, are looking to price the offering at €9.50 to €10.50 per share, looking to raise up to €558 million by selling a 30% stake.
Golden Goose, whose pre-scuffed sneakers retail at between $585 and $820 a pair, is set to float a week on Friday, June 21.
It will be the largest list in Milan since Lottomatica was floated by private equity owner Apollo, raising €690 million in May last year with a valuation of €2.3 billion.
Permira acquired Golden Goose in 2020 for €1.28 billion in from Carlyle, which had previously bought company for €400 million in 2017.
Golden Goose CEO Silvio Campara, who founded the company in 2000, said the IPO will bring its shoes to an "even broader audience."
"Golden Goose is a category-shaping luxury company built to resonate with the new generation of luxury consumers," Permira's Francesco Pascalizi said.
